Underlining the important role of dialogue in promoting and enhancing global peace

Hawzah News Agency - The Chairman of the Interreligious and Cultural Dialogue Center affiliated to the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization, Hojatoleslam Mohammad Mahdi Taskhiri, speaking in the webinar of "Jesus Christ (PBUH) the Keyword of Dialogue and proximity", emphasized the role of dialogue in advancing and enhancing peace in the world.

According to the Public Relations Department of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the Center for Thoughts and Strategic Studies of the United Islamic Ummah assisted by the Ashura International Foundation and the European Women Society of Followers of the Members of the Household of Prophet Mohammad (SA), marking the birth Anniversary of the Jesus Christ (PBUH) held the webinar of "Jesus Christ (PBUH) the Keyword of Dialogue and proximity".

A number of Christian and Muslim scholars from various countries such as Iran, Lebanon, Italy, Syria and France took part in this virtual event.

Hojatoleslam Taskhiri, spoke about the human dimensions of Jesus Christ (PBUH) and his brilliant role in educating a God-abiding and anti-tyrant society. He considered the purpose of the divine prophets as one and said all the divine prophets are accepted by Islam and any insult or disobedience to them is rejected.

Hojatoleslam Taskhiri considered dialogue the best way to get to know each other and preventing devastating wars and creating enmity and hatred. At the end of the webinar, all participants condemned the recent remarks by some Western politicians who insulted the religious sanctities and divine prophets under the pretext of respecting freedom
